Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756 I/O parts

Find selected ControlLogix 1756 input and output modules by exact catalog number. This selection covers AC and DC digital I/O, relay outputs, voltage/current analog I/O and temperature or HART inputs. Use the model references below to prepare a precise sourcing request.

Identify the exact module
Read the complete catalog number and hardware-series marking from the module label. Similar numbers can represent different signal types, isolation arrangements or output protection. A family match is not evidence of interchangeability.

Define the signal and wiring requirements
For digital I/O, identify AC or DC voltage and the input/output arrangement. For analog modules, state voltage, current, RTD or thermocouple signals and the configured channel mode. The IF16 channel count changes between single-ended and differential operation.

Check hardware series and accessories
For IF16H and IRT8I, include the series A/B marking because some electrical specifications differ. State whether removable terminal blocks are required. For thermocouple use of IRT8I, identify the cold-junction compensation arrangement and any required sensors.

Prepare a sourcing request
Provide the exact part number, quantity, acceptable condition, delivery country and required date. Include a label photograph when available. Condition, supplied accessories, test evidence and commercial terms must be confirmed for the offered unit.

Selected 11 models; not the full ControlLogix catalog. No automatic replacement or compatibility claims.

Identify the exact unit before sourcing

Use the full manufacturer part number, suffix, revision, firmware, and nameplate details where they affect the requested identity. A product-family match alone does not establish compatibility.

  • Start with the catalog number on the installed module, rather than the chassis family alone. Preserve letters after the base number and the series marking.
  • Separate AC/DC signal requirements, input/output function and isolation needs before comparing model references. Record terminal-block requirements separately.
  • For a failed unit, request the same exact identity first. If an alternative is needed, send the application constraints for a replacement review.

Compare these model references to the installed label. They do not describe current stock or pre-approved replacements.
