Mixed-brand requirements

Industrial automation BOM sourcing

A maintenance or project list can contain several brands, ambiguous suffixes and different delivery priorities. Start a manual list review without treating every row as a verified part or a confirmed supply option.

What you can submit today

The current RFQ form creates one structured part line. Enter a priority part and its quantity, then open Add optional details and paste other rows into Notes. Additional rows are free text for an operator to clarify; they are not automatically parsed or quoted.

  • One row per requirement: manufacturer / full MPN / quantity / acceptable condition.
  • Add revision or machine grouping where the same MPN has different installation requirements.
  • State whether partial quotation, partial shipment or separate required dates are acceptable.

Keep exceptions visible

Retain the original row wording. Flag unknown manufacturers, unreadable suffixes, repeated rows and any buyer-proposed alternative. Manual review must resolve these before they become quoted identities; quantity consolidation and substitution require confirmation.

  • Prioritize the parts blocking work, rather than implying that all lines can ship together.
  • An option for one line does not establish supply for the rest of the list.
  • A quote must identify included lines, unresolved lines and the commercial assumptions for each offered option.

Files and confidential information

CSV, XLSX, PDF and photo upload are not available on this form. Start with the required part text and omit unrelated customer or supplier information. If a file is necessary, ask the operator to confirm an approved transfer method before sending it. HTTPS alone does not establish private storage, scanning or retention controls.
