RFQ data and privacy

RFQ information is used to identify the requested product, evaluate sourcing options, prepare a quotation, and communicate about that request.

Information handled

  • Company and business contact details.
  • Part numbers, quantities, destination, urgency, and application context.
  • BOMs, nameplate photos, and technical documents only when secure upload is enabled.
  • Sourcing and quotation records required to manage the request.

Purpose and sharing

Information may be shared with vetted supply or technical partners only as needed to evaluate the request. End-customer identity is minimized where practical but is not concealed when law, export control, or source qualification requires it.

Transactional RFQ communication does not enroll a contact in marketing. A final domain launch still requires the operator identity, contact channel, retention schedule, and applicable legal basis to be published.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrica to measure site visits and whether a new quote request is completed. These services may use cookies and process page views, approximate location, and device or browser information. We send a shortened page address without search terms or an RFQ reference, and we do not send RFQ form contents or business contact details as analytics events.

The first-party RFQ record is our operational record. Analytics totals may differ if a browser blocks tracking. For a question about your data, contact quotes@modulescout.com.
